We had a near blizzard yesterday. I was hoping to be sent home early from work to make it to my road to nowhere home....I was hoping that when I went outside I would come in looking like santa clause....Instead, the blizzard was small, the driving conditions were bad and I waited it out at work. I did get my thermal PJ's in the mail though! super warm times!

I am back at Internal Audit. I really will miss my co workers at the dental clinic. We had an awesome potluck on Friday. So yummy!!! But I had to go where the paycheck led me.....

Well I am back! After a super holiday of Ottawa, Toronto, The Cottage, Niagara Falls, New York and Boston I am back in action in Iqaluit.
Ottawa: Stayed with Jen, and brought my super puppy Suka down to get his haircut. He has the classic lion cut and struts himself gooooood.
Toronto: My first birthday celebration was spent here. Brent, Suka and I drove real late at night to get to my brothers place early in the morning. We had a couple hours of sleep and were off to Wonderland. On a side note, Brent has celebrated my birthday with me about 5 times at least. One of the time consisted of him running down an unknown street in Toronto with a surprise lovely diaryqueen cake. xoxo for himmmm......
The Cottage: Our family cottage is a cute little place north of Toronto...We have a lovely little lake which I definatly took advantage of.
Niagara Falls: This was one of my favourite places. The falls were amazing. I believe I was thre as a young child, but I couldn't remember them like I do now. The rest of the town was like a giant tacky amusement park. Brent and I forced ourselves into the Frankenstein house. We almost peed ourselves going in and decided to follow around another family throughout the haunted house. THe dad was like Superman, he wouldn't let anything happen. He even brought his lighter out at one point. The family was one after another like a little train. We were RIGHT behind them. I mean...RIGHT there....yep, turn and bang!
New York is definatly a place to visit. We were only three a couple nights, but I would love to go back. There is always something to do. We hit up the tourist attractions with Lady Liberty, The Empire State Building and The soup Nazi. It was soooo hot there though, without air conditioning inside, it would have been insane. 105 in the shade is already insane. We discovered how much we loved mango mantra jamba juices there.
Boston was lovely as well. We went to six flags where we picked up the proper gear to wear to Superman in 3D that night.(capes, t shirts...the usual) Unfortunatly the day before I got into a bad rollerblading accident. I went flying around a corner, flew high into the air over some gravel and landed on my face. My knee took a big chunk out of it. My face got a small scrapping, but other then that I was lucky meg.

My lovely older sister Erin is married! She was the most beautiful bride ever.
The wedding was full of fun, laughs, tears and joy! yessss, we had it all!

hihi.
I am in Ottawa now. I feel like such a tourist being back. I am staying with old roomie Jen. It felt so good to see her again! It is a breath of fresh air taking a break from town, but still, I miss it...I miss B. Airport window waving is nice.
Last night I fell in slush. I got my bum wet and it didn't feel good. I came home and put on pj's when jen realized that EMERGENCY! she needed chocolate chips. We rushed to the store, and ran in like mad women on a mad mission, we ducked past the store guy trying to stop us and made a run for the baking section. We made it...her cookies were baked....
I need a nap.

I just started work....i am a research assistant for the education act in nunavut. It is an awesome job and will keep me super busy. The only thing I am iffy about is the traveling.....we have to go to every community in Nunavut. It is exciting in a way, but traveling for 5 days twice a month is going to be hectic. I will be missing things here as well......oy.

Soooooooooooooooo....no meg update since...maybe forever. ok hi!
well, I will start with some vacation pics and end with a lovely story. My vacation consisted of Ottawa, my cottage, my cousins wedding, Toronto and homeeeeee!

STORY:
There once was a girl named Meg....she lived in a.........zoo. she like to say whoo! but she was ever so blue.....what would she do?!
so she went on vacation......she traveled by Nanster, saw the great sights of the south, adventured high and far with her sidekick/boyfriend to many places. They battled the fiercest warriors, wore the slickest outfits and never broke a sweat through it all...... but then all of a SUDDEN....KABAM....ok to be continued....
ps. I am doing well through my tough time for the very few of you who know about it...... keep in touch.
ps again. Iqaluit it full of snow these days.

a bubblybooooooooooooooooooooo. eeeeeeeeeeeeek. HI!
Now that I am an unemployed bum I really don't get how I woke up for work so early every morning. I like to wake up early...but I think 9:30 or 10 am is a lovely time for me......
I head downsouth for my super vacation on Friday. I pick up Brent on Sunday and we adventure it off in the Nanster to my cottage on Monday.
I am excited because I have new roomies! That is the end for now.

I am coming to Ottawa next Tuesday! Yay! I am super excited....well I am actually going to seea specialist about a bump in my mouth...yikes. It is pretty funny how excited I can get about a doctors appointment. They are flying me down, and I will stalk up on supplies that I can't get here. I am sure a lot of my friends will have requests for me as well! yay for free travels!

"am I real?" "that's a cute little handshake". SOoooooooo yeh, apparently I am still an avid sleeptalker......I want to be recorded soon.....it is kiiiiiinda neato.
Brent and I cleaned the whole inside out of my parents car (aka Little Red) this weekend....as old and nasty as it is, the inside is surprisingly shining and has a lovely smell to it. I feel like a superstar now as I drive down the potholed roads of our lovely little town.
Back to work...I super-loved having Monday off. It is the best weather right now...not too hot where the mosquitoes are out and attacking, but not too cold where you could get away with just a sweater.....weather+meg=hothotbabies!
PS. A karaoke machine MAY be a necessary item for our house.....maybeeeee!
